Visit the Smart Locker bank in Lower Prospector at Mail and Package Services
When a package arrives for you on campus, you will receive an email indicating its storage location.
The Mail & Package Services “Package Pick Up Window” in Lower-Level Prospector allows students living on campus to pick up their packages by showing their 49er ID and email notification. Packages must be picked up by the package recipient and signed for at the window.
Check the Package Pick Up Window hours on our contact, hours & location page. If a package is not picked up within 10 days, it will be returned to sender.
Students residing in off-campus housing cannot receive mail or packages on campus.
Smart Lockers provide a self-service package pickup for on-campus residents, conveniently located in Lower Prospector. Check the Smart Locker and Prospector Building hours on our contact, hours & location page.
To take advantage of this service, be sure to pick up your package within 24 hours of receiving the email. After 24 hours, packages not claimed from their lockers will be relocated to the mail room to clear space for the next delivery.
If you have received more than one package, Mail and Package Services will make an effort to combine them into a single locker. However, packages may be separated depending on size and space. Double-check your email to confirm whether or not you have packages in multiple lockers.
See a mailroom staff member if you accidentally close the locker door before collecting your packages. Your 49er ID will allow the locker to open only once.
