49er ID Now Available for Samsung Wallet

Your 49er ID now available in Samsung Wallet

UNC Charlotte faculty, staff and students may now set up their 49er ID in Samsung Wallet, in addition to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.

Using your 49er ID in Samsung Wallet allows you to take advantage of these features:

  • Fast Mode – Open doors, access buildings and more just by tapping your phone on a campus reader. There is no need to turn on your screen or unlock your device when you have Fast Mode and NFC enabled.
  • Power Reserve – Your Student ID works even when your phone battery runs out – up to 15 taps within 24 hours after a device powers down due to low battery or is turned off!
  • Exclusive Student Discounts – Get additional savings on Samsung products with the Education Offers Program.

If you would like to move your 49er ID from your Google Wallet to Samsung Wallet, you must first remove it from Google Wallet. Once removed, simply select “Add to Samsung Wallet” and follow the prompts.
