Free Starship deliveries for meal plan holders
Dining is offering an exciting new promotion for meal plan holders. Two daily meal plans will include free Starship robot deliveries starting fall 2025.
Eligible Meal Plans
Daily/ $300
- Unlimited meals at Social 704, SoVi, and Charlotte Greens
- $300 in Declining Balance to use at any campus dining location
- 5 guest meals each semester
- 5 free Starship robot deliveries each semester
Daily/ $400
- Unlimited meals at Social 704, SoVi, and Charlotte Greens
- $400 in Declining Balance to use at any campus dining location
- 5 guest meals each semester
- 10 free Starship robot deliveries each semester
The last day to purchase or change a meal plan for the fall is Friday, Sept. 5, 2025. (Changes made after Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025 will incur a $25 administrative fee.)
How to Use Starship
Starship robots deliver food and drinks all across campus, rain or shine. Dining retail favorites like Bojangles, Panda Express, Shake Smart, Subway, Thoughtful Cup, Wendy’s and more all offer delivery through Starship. Plus, Starship is the only way to take advantage of Late Night Delivery, where you can get wings, tacos, burgers and more delivered after other campus dining is closed.
Ordering with Starship is easy!
- Download the Starship delivery app
- Select UNC Charlotte from the list of universities
- Set your delivery location
- Order from retail locations on campus
- The robot picks up your order and brings it to the delivery location
- Use the app to unlock the robot and receive your order
