Support the 49ers4LIFE Blood Drive
Be a life saver by donating at the seventeenth annual 49ers4LIFE Blood Drive!
UNC Charlotte collaborates with the American Red Cross to organize the largest blood drive on the Charlotte campus each spring. Students, staff and visitors to the campus volunteer as blood donors, addressing an essential need for patients of all ages.
This year’s drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in the Popp Martin Student Union room 340.
Register to be a blood donor through the Red Cross website. Search for the sponsor code “49ers4life” to find the drive and schedule your appointment. All donors will receive a free short-sleeved t-shirt!
Tip: Speed up your donation by completing a RapidPass® online or in the Blood Donor app on the day of your donation.
Visitor parking is accessible in the Union Deck. You can get parking validation at the donation site.
Can’t donate? You can still help by spreading the word about the event with your friends, coworkers or anyone interested in donating.
