New Student Welcome
Celebrate “Niner New Year” the Sunday before fall classes start. PaTS will be out to showcase smart parking and transportation options for students new and old.
Lime Ride Along

- Craver Road near the Popp Martin Student Union
Take a group tour of campus on a Lime e-scooter or e-bike. Free for students who sign up in advance.
Race to the Parking Line

- Union Parking Deck
Compete with fellow students to park your RC car the fastest; just make sure you’re in the lines! Fastest parker wins a prize.

FedEx Finders Scavenger Hunt

- Starts in FedEx Office in Lower Prospector
Join a team to solve clues that lead you to locations across campus; the team that finds the most clues successfully wins! The game starts and ends at FedEx Office in lower Prospector. Don’t have a team? No worries! We’ll pair up all participants before the game begins.

Soap-Making Teaching Kitchen

Join us for a delightful afternoon of creativity and flavor at our Craft & Graze workshop. Create a delicious and visually appealing charcuterie box, craft your own scented soap bar with personalized infusions, and paint a taper candle for unique decor.
Each session limited to 15 people, please only sign up for Session 1 or Session 2.
Light Rail Scavenger Hunt
- Friday, Aug. 28
- 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- UNC Charlotte Main Station
Assemble your team, solve clues, find Charlotte city favorites and win prizes!
Teams of up to 5 players will have 2 hours 49 minutes to find as many locations as they can, all within walking distance of Lynx Light Rail stations. Prizes will be given out to teams with the highest scores and to the team with the best photographs.
Postcards to Home

Decorate your postcard with markers, pencils, stickers and other craft supplies, write your personalized message and mail it out the same day for free. Drop in anytime between 2 and 3 p.m. outside Mail Services in lower Prospector.
