You can be a life saver at the sixteenth annual 49ers4LIFE Blood Drive!

Every spring, UNC Charlotte and the American Red Cross work together to host the biggest blood drive on Charlotte campus. Students, staff and campus visitors volunteer as blood donors, filling a critical need for patients of all ages.

This year’s drive will take place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Mar 17, in the Popp Martin Student Union room 340.

You can register to be a blood donor on the Red Cross website. Search for sponsor code “49ers4life” to find the drive and schedule your appointment. All donors will receive a free long-sleeved t-shirt!

Need parking? Visitor parking is available in the Union Deck. Ask a blood drive worker for parking validation.

Even if you can’t donate, you can help by sharing the event with your friends, coworkers or anyone interested in donating.
