All-you-care-to-eat buffet dining.
Located on the second level of the Student Union, Social 704 features action stations, allowing for a customized, more personal dining experience. Stations include:
- Between the Bread – freshly sliced meats, cheeses and fresh toppings, piled high on just-baked breads
- Burning Stone – pizza fresh from a gas-fired oven
- Crisp – Build a salad, then add sizzling proteins cooked to order
- Delicious Without – Tapas style entrees for students looking to avoid the top 9 food allergens (milk, egg, shellfish, fish, tree nut, wheat, peanut, soybean, sesame)
- Hot Flats – burgers and other favorites grilled or charbroiled to order
- Saute – flavors from around the world; completely customizable meals to order
- The Kitchen – comfort foods and rotisserie items
- Waffle, cereal, and dessert bars
SoVi at South Village Crossing
At SoVi, meals are prepared in smaller batches and served tapas-style on individual plates, resulting in portion awareness, brighter flavor, eye appeal and waste reduction. Small plate presentation is not restrictive; go back for more as many times as you like! Action stations include:
- 500 Degrees – Serving handmade oven-baked pizzas, pasta and other favorites
- Avoiding Gluten – Made-to-order pizza, pasta and stuffed mushrooms for students looking to avoid gluten in their diet (mobile order only)
- Avoiding Gluten Pantry – Assorted gluten-avoiding bread and bagels and self-serve gluten-avoiding waffle iron available
- Bok Choy – Asian-style cuisine featuring a Jade double wok
- Carved and Crafted / Soup & Co. – Make your own sandwiches and wraps with assorted soups
- Chef’s Table – Omelets and chef pop-ups: custom entrees created by our chefs
- Delicious Without – Tapas style entrees for students looking to avoid the top 9 food allergens (milk, egg, shellfish, fish, tree nut, wheat, peanut, soybean, sesame)
- Flame – Grilled burgers, chicken, turkey burgers, grilled cheese or other grilled items, paired with assorted hot and cold sides and toppings (gluten-avoiding buns and vegetarian burgers available upon request)
- Fresh 52 – Extensive salad bar with fresh-cut veggies, proteins, leafy greens and fruit
- Homestyle – Rotating entrees and sides that offer a wide variety each week including vegan/vegetarian options
- Sweet Shoppe – Pastries, mousses, cookies, ice cream and house-made gelato
- Waffles, cereal, pastries and fruit are available
- Plus a seasonal Dining Terrace that overlooks Davis Lake

- Market at SoVi + Bakery where fresh-baked goods and convenience items are available.
