Taking in-person summer classes? Meal plans give students access to a variety of convenient dining options right on campus.
Summer 2026 meal plans
40 Meals / $100 DB
$525 per semester, sales tax included
- 40 meals per summer semester
- $100 Declining Balance (DB) funds for the semester
$350 Straight DB
$350 per semester, sales tax included
- $350 in Straight Declining Balance (DB) funds
Understanding your meal plan
Meals
Use a meal to enter one of the two all-you-care-to-eat dining halls on campus, Social 704 or SoVi. Meals can also be used at Charlotte Greens in South Village. Students must wait 15 minutes in between using meals at different locations.
Students can bring guests into the dining halls by using guest meals.
Meals and expire at the end of the semester.
Before purchasing a meal plan, review the meal plan contract terms and conditions.
Declining Balance
Declining Balance (DB) funds may be used throughout the semester including breaks, at any campus dining venue, including concessions and convenience stores.
At the end of the semester, any unspent funds will carry over to the next semester until the next academic year.
Meal plan dates
Spring 2026
- Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026: Last day for upperclass and commuter students to make changes or cancel their meal plan without incurring a $25 admin fee
- Friday, Jan. 9, 2026: Meal plans go live
- Friday, Jan. 30, 2026: Deadline to change or cancel a meal plan
- Thursday, May 7, 2026: Last day to use meals for the semester
- Friday, Aug. 7, 2026: DB funds for expire for the academic year
Summer 2026
Summer Session 1 (May 18 to June 24)
- Friday, May 15, 2026: Meal plans go live
- Monday, May 18, 2026: First day of dining hall meal service
- Friday, May 22, 2026: Deadline to change or cancel a meal plan
- Wednesday, June 24, 2026: Last day to use meals from Summer Session 1
- Friday, Aug. 7, 2026: DB funds expire for the academic year
Summer Session 2 (June 29 to Aug. 5)
- Sunday, June 28, 2026: Meal plans go live
- Monday, June 29, 2026: First day of dining hall meal service
- Friday, July 10, 2026: Deadline to change or cancel a meal plan
- Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026: Last day to use meals from Summer Session 2
- Friday, Aug. 7, 2026: DB funds expire for the academic year

- Spring break: Saturday, Mar. 7 to Saturday, Mar. 14, 2026 (all dining halls closed)
