Fastest Ways to Get Food on Campus

Categories: Dining Tags: Dining

Picture this: It’s the morning and you’re gearing up for another school day. Your Tuesdays can be packed–you’ve got three classes and only a short amount of time to grab food. Don’t worry! Here are three line hacks to help you dodge the chaos of peak mealtime crowds.

Still in class? Use Mobile Ordering

Ordering ahead lets you skip the line and have your food ready when class is over. The Niner Diners Mobile Ordering app is easy to use, convenient and saves you time. Get food from retail dining locations like Bojangles, Shake Smart, Thoughtful Cup and more. You can even order custom pizzas and burgers from the dining halls ahead of time.

Bonus: Earn points with every purchase. Points can be used to enter limited-time contests for prizes like branded gear, ODA funds, and campus event tickets.

Already at the location? Use the kiosk

Self-service kiosks are often the fastest way to order food at the Student Union, Prospector and Cone University Center.

Kiosks accept Declining Balance, 49er Account, Optional Dining Account and debit or credit cards.

Too busy to stop by? Order with Starship

Starship delivery robots can bring food to you from select campus dining locations anywhere on campus. Just download the Starship app and order.

49er Fresh food items are also available at Markets in Cone, Prospector, South Village and Amazon Just Walk Out. Check out our Just Baked vending machines for hot food on the go.

By planning ahead and using these options, you can skip the long lines and keep yourself focused and fueled.
